Friday the 13th… Add Little Design Luck in Your Home

Happy Friday the 13th! Some people consider it unlucky… but I prefer to think of it as a good excuse to reset a few things around the house. With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, it also feels like the perfect time to talk about a little luck at home.

Here are a few simple things you can try this weekend:

🍀 Add a little green.
Green is one of the most versatile colors in interior design. A plant, a throw pillow, or even a bowl of green apples on the counter can instantly freshen a space. Here's a few posts to get you inspired:

🍀 Clear one clutter spot.
Pick a single drawer, shelf, or surface that has been bothering you. Even five minutes can make a big difference. Keeping your home free of clutter allows positive energy to move through your home. Here are a couple posts to help you with this one:

🍀 Let the light in.

🍀 Bring something living into the room.
Plants add life and softness to a space. Even one small plant can change how a room feels. Here's a post on my favorite (hard to kill) house plants:

🍀 Refresh one little corner.
Rearrange a chair, restyle a shelf, or move a lamp. Small changes can make your home feel new again. Makeover one room in your home easily with Made for You Design Boards!

Sometimes a home doesn’t need luck… it just needs a tiny shift. If you try one of these this weekend, I’d love to hear what you changed! Wishing you a calm, cozy, and maybe even a little lucky weekend.

May your troubles be less
And your blessings be more,
And nothing but happiness
Come through your door.

P.S. If you try one of these this weekend, hit reply and tell me what you changed. I love hearing the little home wins in this community.

Clean kids room hack

Hi friend, I had one of those little parenting moments recently that completely changed the way I think about organizing. For years, I thought the answer to a cleaner kids' room was more reminders. LOL If the dirty clothes always end up at the foot of the bed...maybe the laundry basket belongs there. If backpacks always land by the back...
